Feedback from our Supervisees

Not just a teacher, but a partner, a mentor, and a friend! Waypoint gives me a lifelong partner in my career as a BCBA.

I was looking for something to enhance my coursework, not repeat it! Jessica gave me industry insight that I could not get from a textbook and led me to not only understand the knowledge I needed to be an effective BCBA, but the skills I needed to get and excel at my first job as a BCBA.

Since I was working full time and raising a family, I needed something that was both flexible and efficient. Waypoint supervisors were the perfect partners to fit great supervision into my busy schedule.

How Does It Work?

Enrollment and Scheduling

We will meet to discuss your expectations and goals to be sure they are good fit for virtual supervision. A supervision contract will be signed to initiate your supervision contract and an initial meeting will be planned to identify your strengths and needs. Regular check-ins will be programmed to ensure that your supervision experience is meeting your learning goals and expectations.

Weekly Supervision Meeting

We will meet by phone or online weekly at a time that fits your schedule. Meetings will include overview of your questions from your coursework and programmed discussion from the BACB Task List. Meetings will also include working through actual cases to discuss both clinical and practical needs. Ethics, parent training, and logistics of quality care will be key elements of each supervision meeting.

Video and Programming Review

You will provide video samples of your interactions with clients to satisfy the BACB requirements of direct supervision of your work twice per month. You will also provide samples of  your programming for your clients for feedback. In person observation is offered for local BCBA candidates.
